Looking back on 2009 and some of the couples that I was fortunate enough to take engagements photos of, it reminds me how being engaged is such a beautiful time marking the new start of your life together. I had so much fun spending time with each of the couples shown below. Engagement sessions are such a great way to really become comfortable with your photographer. Most people including myself, don't spend much time familiarizing themselves with their body positions and facial expressions in front of a camera, so the engagement session is a great way to do that...having a cocktail or two is another great way!

Kissing under the bridge, the hands on the coat, and walking off the train are my favorite shots in this group. They all show these couples love for each other in an elegant and contemporary way.
